289 pages, ruled paper. Some brown discolouring in keeping with age

Front of the book W H Cooper writes – To Gerard Lord Esqu

“The following pages (which have been the amusement of some leisure hours) are offered in the hope and belief that notwithstanding all the blunders scientific grammatic and idiomatic with which they abound, he will be pleases to make the acquaintance of M. le Colonel Fourgas”
